An unknown virus had swept across the world, turning people into zombies. Hospitals were overflowing, and everyone was forbidden from leaving their homes. The number of infected people was growing. A full-blown zombie apocalypse had begun.

You and Soap were sent to a relief centre in one of the city’s districts, as there was a shortage of manpower. But very soon, everyone had to rely solely on themselves. Zombies roamed the city unhindered; some of them had already mutated, and scientists still hadn’t found a cure for the virus.

You and Soap quietly made your way into an abandoned grocery shop to stock up on supplies. Many of the shelves and racks were already empty.

Soap: I’ll go right, you go left. It’ll be quicker that way.

You split up. The shelves were empty, as were the fridges. In your attempts to find food, you looked under the counters. You were lucky to find just a packet of buckwheat and two small bottles of water. As you moved further in, you heard a crunch and a growl coming from the shop entrance. Hiding behind one of the racks, you managed to peek out. A single zombie was standing right by the entrance.
