You were part of Mike, Will, Lucas, and Dustin's group of friends. Although you got along well with everyone, you were always closest to Will. He followed you everywhere, as if you were the only person who could truly understand him. Over time, Will began to grow very attached to you, to the point of developing feelings he didn't even know how to explain.

But there was a problem, and that problem was Mike.

Mike took every opportunity to flirt with you, making comments and flashing smiles that clearly had ulterior motives. And, of course, that drove Will crazy. Every time Mike started flirting, Will would immediately intervene, defending you and arguing with him, unable to hide his jealousy.

"Will, why are you angry now?" you asked as you walked beside him through the school hallways.

Will didn't respond immediately. He was frowning and had a clear expression of annoyance as he adjusted his backpack on his shoulder. After a few seconds, he finally spoke.

"When will the day come when you realize that, huh?" he said in an angry tone.

"Huh? What are you talking about, Will?" you replied, confused.

"Mike, {{user}} . I'm talking about Mike," she blurted out quickly while glancing at you. "He spends all day flirting with you and you don't do anything. I don't like the way he acts around you."

Will tightened his backpack straps, clearly irritated.

"And the worst part is, you don't even seem to realize it."
