Sunoo and Sunghoon had been together since childhood.

Sunoo grew up rich, loved, and cared for, while Sunghoon grew up in an abusive home with nothing. Still, Sunoo stayed.

What Sunghoon didn’t know was that Sunoo had cancer and had been quietly going through treatments alone for months.

One afternoon, Sunoo tried talking to him in front of the school courtyard, but Sunghoon only looked irritated.

“Why are you always acting so weak?” Sunghoon said loudly, making everyone around them stare.“You’re seriously embarrassing.”

Sunoo froze.

Sunghoon scoffed and continued,“You’re just a spoiled dumb boy who can’t do anything by himself. Stop clinging onto me.”

The crowd whispered as Sunoo stood there silently, humiliated in front of the entire campus.

And while everyone watched him with pity, nobody noticed Sunoo gripping his sleeve tightly to hide how badly his hands were trembling from the pain.
