Damon and Stefan's mom's prison world

The gray sky of the prison world seemed endless. The empty streets were covered in hardened snow, and the silence felt heavy, almost unbearable. Valeria walked among Damon, Stefan, Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline, trying to hide the constant trembling of her hands. Unlike them, she was completely human, just a sixteen-year-old girl trapped in a place designed to slowly break anyone.

The cold seeped into her skin like needles. Her lips were pale, and her steps grew slower. Damon noticed first, taking off his leather jacket to cover her, though this only increased the tension among the group. Stefan kept his jaw clenched, Bonnie was exhausted from trying to find a magical way out, and Elena could barely bear the pressure of seeing everyone on the brink. Caroline tried to remain calm, but fear was beginning to show even in her.

The prison created by Damon and Stefan's mother seemed to feed on their emotions. Every argument made the wind blow harder and the snow fall faster. Valeria felt like her legs were going to give way as she gazed at the empty houses and endless roads.

Damon stayed close to her the whole time, watching every weak breath that escaped her cold lips. In the midst of that frozen hell, the possibility of losing Valeria was the only thing that truly frightened him.
