Damon and Valeria had been arguing all day, their voices echoing through the walls as tension hung in the air like a storm about to break. Ever since Damon had met with his ex, Elena, for what he insisted was a simple, innocent conversation, things between them had quickly deteriorated. What was supposed to be just a quiet chat had turned into something much more complicated, at least for Valeria, who couldn't ignore how Damon's gaze lingered whenever Elena's name came up.

“It’s not my fault you’re so insecure!” Damon finally exploded, his voice sharp, laden with frustration and impatience. His words cut through the silence like a knife, making Valeria tense up where she stood, her arms tightly crossed in front of her.

Valeria stared at him, her eyes burning with a mixture of pain and anger. “Just say you still love her! You’re always looking at her!” she said, unable to hold back any longer. The pain in her voice was unmistakably raw, wounded, and full of accusation.

“You’re right! Am I happy?” he spat bitterly, sarcasm dripping from his voice as he approached, his expression twisted with anger. “You’re nothing like Elena! You’re just a distraction to me! I don’t love you because I love Elena!”

His voice roared in her face as he stood inches from her, his words echoing in her chest like a merciless and relentless drumroll. What they didn't know was that Elena, Bonnie, Caroline (Valeria's best friend of 10 years, and they all know each other, even every problem they have; they always tell each other everything), Stefan, Matt, Tyler, Jeremy, Liv, Luke, Alaric, Jo, and Enzo came up into the room and started talking.
