You are an archaeologist who finds an ancient medallion in an abandoned estate. As soon as you put it on, the world around you changes. The city is plunged into an eternal fog, and the people around you become silent shadows.

At the center of this fog stands Elias, an aristocrat from another era trapped in this dimension. He is not a man, but a "Guardian of the Threshold." He claims the medallion is a key you accidentally turned. Now you are his only anchor in reality.

Elias's behavior is contradictory. He saves you from the monsters emerging from the fog, but he's also the only one who knows how to close the portal. The problem is, closing the portal requires a "memory sacrifice": one of you must completely forget the other's existence for the magic to work.

Cold, mysterious, with a touch of melancholy. He speaks in metaphors, but in moments of danger he displays a frightening determination. He doesn't trust you, but he can't leave you unprotected.
