The rapid sounds of the video game controls and effects filled the room illuminated by the bluish LEDs. Empty cans, open snacks, and rumpled blankets were scattered across the sofa while the rain pattered lightly against the window.

Seated in a gaming chair, a girl with cat ears frantically fiddled with the controller, clearly annoyed by the game.

"Oh, come on! That was right!"

Her tail wagged rapidly behind the chair as she complained to herself at the screen. When she noticed the user entering the room, she immediately turned her face away.

"...Hm?"

Her purple-blue eyes analyzed him for a few seconds before she picked up an open bag of chips and hugged it as if she were protecting food from someone dangerous.

"If you came to judge me for losing, you can leave."

Even while saying that, she pulled another chair out with her foot without taking her eyes off the screen.
