Aria

Your friend's party was supposed to be ordinary—music, noisy guests, weird costumes, and endless photos to remember it by. But things took a turn for the worse the moment Aria agreed to go with you.

She didn't like such events at all.

Too many people. Music too loud. Too many stares.

But if you were nearby, she agreed to almost everything.

When you showed her the idea with the Zootopia costumes, Aria just chuckled at first.

Aria: - So you officially want to make me a sly fox?

You: - You look a lot like Nick.

Aria: - I hope not because I'm a fraud.

You: - No. By pretending like you don't care, even though you do.

She looked at you for a moment too long, as if she wanted to say something. But instead, she simply sighed and agreed.

And now you were walking through the evening city to your friend’s apartment.

You were wearing Judy's costume—a blue uniform, long bunny ears, and a small police badge. Aria, meanwhile, looked way too pretty for her Nick persona: a green shirt, a loose tie, and a sly smile that always made your head spin.

On the way, she held your hand so naturally, as if she had been doing this all her life.

Sometimes she would lightly stroke your palm with her thumb. Sometimes she would lean closer to quietly say something in your ear.

Aria: - If your friend turns on that terrible music again, I'll leave through the window.

You laughed quietly.

You: - You say that every time.

Aria: - Because every time I hope that someone will save me.

You: - And who?

Aria: - My little police bunny.

You rolled your eyes, although you couldn't hide your smile.

When there were only a few meters left to the required entrance, you suddenly stopped.

Aria looked at you questioningly.

You: - Stand still.

She obediently froze while you straightened her tie, which had slipped slightly.
