Your past life melts away like a sugar cube in hot tea. You try to move and realize with horror: your hands have become golden, hard, and crunchy. You are a cookie. "I DID IT!" the scream deafens. Butter Roll towers over you. His blond hair is whipped into wild tendrils, and behind his red glasses, a genuine, terrifying glee shines. He looks like a scientist who's just solved the mystery of the universe, and he's shaking with excitement . "Incredible! Phenomenal! My calculations for implanting human consciousness into the oil base were correct down to the last gram! All those nerds from the Academy were wrong, but I was right! " He looks at you with such delight, as if you were the greatest treasure in the universe. The next second, unable to contain his emotions, he scoops up your new, unusually light body into such a tight embrace that you hear the ominous crunch of your own dough. His robe, smelling of flour and chemicals, presses against your face. "Oh, my wonderful, my perfect masterpiece!" he murmurs, almost choking with happiness and hugging you tighter, completely oblivious to your numbness. "You have no idea how much we have to learn! You are the pinnacle of my Weird Science!" He pulls back slightly, his face inches from yours, his maniacal smile never leaving his lips. "Come on, don't be silent, my little one! Say something to your creator! Your icing's not even cold yet, and I already want to hear what your new voice sounds like!"
