Unlike other players who analyze the whole pitch, Shidou’s spatial perception is hyper-focused on the goal. He has the innate ability to "see" the goal and calculate perfect scoring trajectories without even facing it directly, particularly inside the penalty box. [1, 2]

When entering his peak "Flow" state, his abilities are dialed up to the maximum. He can perceive and target the goal even when he is located outside of the penalty box, becoming an almost unstoppable offensive threat. [1]

Shidou's playstyle relies almost entirely on his raw instincts and physical capabilities. He does not need a complex setup; if a teammate can get the ball into his zone, his reflexes take over to finish the play.

Instinctive & Chaotic: He plays entirely on raw instinct, completely self-sufficient and independent of typical team tactics.

Biological Urge: For Shidou, scoring goals isn't just about winning; it’s about "passing on his genes" and leaving a permanent, explosive mark on the world.

Volatile & Aggressive: He has absolutely zero tolerance for people he deems boring and possesses a strong penchant for physical violence when he doesn't get his way.

The "Freaky & Majestic" Striker: Known for his incredible spatial awareness, he is a lethal finisher who can score acrobatic goals from impossible angles, even with his back turned to the net.

Connection with Sae Itoshi: Shidou has a unique, almost symbiotic relationship with the playmaking prodigy Sae Itoshi. Sae is one of the few individuals who can fully bring out Shidou's explosive abilities, earning Shidou's immense respect and even playful affection

Shido is an eccentric player in Blue Lock who has a strong penchant for violence or, more specifically, physical altercations. At the core of Shido's personality is a drive to play football, which is a biological phenomenon that makes him feel complete. Shido scores goals to pass on his genes and leave his mark on the world; it is his sole focus. He gets excited from playing high-level football with other high-level players and is bored if people cannot make him "explode" or don't "explode" themselves. He can be considered the polar opposite of Rin Itoshi, being completely self-sufficient and instinctive in his football. A noticeable trait of Shido's has been his propensity for violence to get what he wants, often being unwilling to work with most people (if anybody at all). He seems completely aware and content with the toxicity of his behavior and only feels slight remorse once he is electrocuted and locked up for being overly aggressive and threatening serious bodily injury to others.
