Reo is very charismatic, friendly, resourceful, and ambitious. He proves to be quite extroverted and was very popular in high school, having dozens of admirers. With multiple talents, he excels in academics, sports, and interpersonal relationships. Thanks to his excellent upbringing as the heir to a multi-million dollar company, Reo also exhibits entrepreneurial skills that he uses for his own purposes. For example, he formed his own soccer team at school in a matter of days by promising them they could meet attractive idols, or he started a food swap market in the Blue Lock cafeteria to strengthen his classmates' unity and gain their trust. Intelligence is a very notable characteristic of his, as he was not only the top student in his class, but he also took on the role of strategist for Team V and could improvise new plans on the fly when facing stronger opponents. Reo can be a bit self-centered, as he tends to put his own goals before everything else, which resulted in him convincing Nagi, who initially had no interest in soccer, to play with him.

Although he readily embraces new challenges and experiences, he becomes deeply angry when things don't go his way, perhaps due to his upbringing in a wealthy family. He generally seems to feel every emotion intensely and is extremely aware of his own flaws and limitations, as evidenced by several painful emotional breakdowns depicted in the spin-off manga. Because of his heightened emotionality, he can even become violent when he loses his temper, as seen when he elbows Jingo Raichi after being provoked. Ultimately, Reo is a friendly and intelligent young man who knows what he wants in life and will pursue it until he achieves it.

Before entering Blue Lock, he was a student at an elite high school, where he met his first lifelong friend, Seishiro Nagi, who started playing soccer soon after him due to Nagi's natural talent in the sport and Reo's desire to go further in soccer.

When he arrived at Blue Lock, Reo was a member of Team V and arguably the second-best player in his age group. He played as a center back for Blue Lock Eleven against Japan's U-20 national team. After finishing seventh in the fifth round of the Neo Egoist League, Reo qualified for the 23-man Japan U-20 national team. He currently plays as a right midfielder for Japan's U-20 national team. Reo is a tall, slender young man. He has chin-length purple hair, tied back with two asymmetrical strands framing his face. He has large, bright purple eyes with a black outer ring around them and purple eyebrows.

Kurona is very quiet and introverted, only speaking when necessary and preferring to stay out of the spotlight. He also prefers to help others rather than take the initiative completely in the field, especially with Isagi.

He also tends to repeat things and feel somewhat self-conscious about his shark-like sharp teeth. That said, his quiet nature does not imply that he is a rude person, as he is quite kind to those who know him personally. On most occasions when he has been seen with Kurona, he has never been confrontational and, on the contrary, seems to behave very calmly. In addition, he has a habit of repeating a word twice before uttering a longer sentence, or simply repeating a word at the end of a sentence.

After finishing the fifth round of the Neo Egoist League, and being ranked 18th, Kurona qualified to become one of the 23 players in Japan's new U-20 team.
Kurona is relatively short compared to his teammates, who are about the same age. She has dark pale pink hair with a single braid that falls over the left side of her face. Kurona has pale pink eyes and sharp, saw-like teeth, similar to Jingo Raichi's, i.e., crooked.

Kunigami has a very moral personality. He can take his football career, training, and way of life very seriously, but he also knows when to relax and enjoy life. He is considered calm but passionate when it comes to football and can be very rational and careful at times, but he can also be just as stubborn as Raichi, who he tends to butt heads with. Kunigami will not let troublemakers and people who play unfairly get away with it when he is around; he almost comes off as an older brother. Even though he is serious most of the time, he can be very grateful and somewhat embarrassed when others praise him.

Meeting Ryusei Shidou had an impact on Kunigami's mindset and way of doing things. His moral and fair way of playing was overtaken by a more aggressive and instinctive way of playing and he exited Blue Lock questioning Shidou's words as he exited Blue Lock. After returning to Blue Lock, Kunigami is noticeably colder and more focused, having a whole new philosophy on how he plays soccer and striving to maintain his dominance on the field. Kunigami barely says a sentence to Isagi and does not speak to anyone else in the stratum. As the Neo-Egoist League develops, Kunigami shows that he has become very selfish and only cares about scoring his own goals, no matter what he has to do to get them.

Rensuke Kunigami (國神 錬介, Kunigami Rensuke?) is a Blue Lock project hopeful, who currently plays in the position of striker and defensive midfielder for German team Bastard München in the Neo-Selfish League.

He is a hot-blooded striker whose main goal is to become the best striker in the world and, in turn, a football superhero. When he first arrived at Blue Lock, he was a member of Team Z during the First Selection. He was removed from the Blue Lock's main route during the Second Pick, but instead of leaving the facility, he entered a mysterious "Wild Card" door that was open to him.

After the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team, Kunigami finally returned from the "Wild Card" gate and met with the other contenders during the Neo-Selfish League.

In the Neoegoist League he managed to play all his games at the Bastard München, his style of play was characterized by not looking for allies and standing out based on his physical abilities. Against F.C. Barcha scored a goal with an assist from Isagi, against Manshine City he snatched a goal from Isagi thanks to Kaiser obstructing his shooting angle, against Ubers he did not stand out much and, finally, against Paris X Gen he managed to assist Isagi and completely nullified Shidou. He finished the Neoegoist League in the 8th ranking and qualified for the U-20 World Cup.
Kunigami is a tall, light-skinned high school student with bright, spiky orange hair that is styled with an undercut with brown eyes. He is very muscular and broad-shouldered.

Hiori is shown to be polite. He is very friendly to Isagi and Nanase, providing useful information after their match and giving Isagi advice during the game.

He is also very insightful, being able to break down complex topics into more casual examples, as well as provide helpful hints and tips on how to perform better. He suggests to Isagi that it is important to reflect on one's own moves, indicating a deep understanding of the game on his part.

Hiori is a very level-headed person and player. He claims to play consistently, which can be seen in how he is able to make quick and accurate passes in high-pressure situations without hesitation. While he gets excited in high-stakes matches, he does not diminish his performance or mindset.

Hiori is a gamer. It can be seen when he was able to relate his understanding of football through the example of tile-matching video games.

Hiori was exposed to great pressure from birth by his parents, who dreamed of their son becoming the best in the world, however Hiori knew that he would never make it. In the Neoegoist League, thanks to his connection with Isagi, he found a new goal to play football: to be the key that produces the best striker in the world.
In Blue Lock, Hiori wears the standard suit (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the Second Selection in the Red Team and the Third Selection in the A Team he wore the number 27. During the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team, Hiori wore the official blue Blue Lock player uniform with the number 16. According to his perception of himself as "the King", Barou has an imperious personality, seeing himself above others while maintaining an arrogant and selfish attitude. Initially, Barou perceived everyone else on the field as supporting roles, moving for the sake of his own goals, being himself the lead actor on stage. He is obsessed with pursuing his own football, but in reality he does not like or is passionate about it. Barou is motivated by the need to take on others who play football and use their goals to knock them out of the lead actor's seat and replace them. The pleasure gained through this is something Barou believes is only for the strong. Barou is the type of player who refuses to pass the ball and every time he loses possession he strives to win the ball back or steal a goal.

After his symbolic loss to Isagi, where he felt he lost his position as a lead actor, Barou took a more evil approach to his own philosophy. Now he's willing to take on a "villain" role if it means regaining that position. Despite this evil retake, Barou also matured after that match, being willing to admit when he was defeated and asking Isagi about the football he wants to play. Barou was visibly upset when he wasn't chosen for Blue Lock's 11 lineup, even though Isagi did, and has been focused and biding his moment to play ever since. When Barou is finally substituted to play against the Japanese U-20 National Team, he still has his behavior overly critical and rude.

In keeping with his obsessive personality, Barou is a perfectionist when it comes to controlling his environment and routine. He maintains constant order in his environment, cleans and organizes his living space within Blue Lock, and gets angry at those who don't. This also extends to the bathroom area and controlling how people around them behave

Barou is tall, with red eyes and long black hair that he wears in an upward-spiky style; when she lets go, her hair reaches her neck. Barou also has a muscular build, due to his dedicated training regimen, maintaining his physical condition.
In Blue Lock, Barou wears the standard suit (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection in the X team he wore the number 10. During the Second National Team in the Red Team and the White Team he wore the number 18 and from the match against the Japanese National Team from U-20 onwards he wears the number 13.

Before the match against Bastard München, Barou dyed 3 red lines in his hair to celebrate the 100 million offer he had received from Ubers.

Chigiri is a confident and motivated person who loves to outperform others on the field. From a young age he has always considered himself superior to others due to his strong natural musculature, his amazing ability in football and his outstanding speed, calling himself a "chosen one". He looked down on those who stood in his way or bothered him, but he mostly behaved as if he was exposing facts. He is described as super-selfish, conceited and one of the most aggressive players on the field. Only when he tore his ACL did his sense of superiority begin to crumble, and due to bullying from the Wanima brothers, he was afraid to play football for fear of losing "who he is". He was so afraid of this that he accepted Blue Lock's invitation to find a reason to give up instead of continuing to fight for his dream. But after regaining control of his ego and ambition, he has proven to be a persistent and tenacious force on the field.

After this point, Chigiri demonstrates a kind but self-confident attitude. He often makes cheeky comments towards both his opponents and his friends, and has no qualms about trying to crush people who annoy him, such as Zantetsu when he outplays him on the field and even Isagi when he goes ahead in the Second Selection instead of expecting him. Off the field, Chigiri is generally calm and peaceful. During his time on Team Z, he casually chatted with Kunigami and eventually teamed up with him showing that he fully trusts his abilities, and demonstrated great chemistry with him. He even invited Reo to join them, acknowledging that his balanced set of skills and combined experience in a trio would come in handy; apparently willing to set aside any past animosity for the sake of pragmatism. After joining the White Team in the Second Selection, he even gets along quite well with Nagi and Reo

Chigiri is a prodigy striker who was shackled by a leg injury in the past, but put aside his fears while at Blue Lock so he could continue to play football with all his heart. When he first arrived at Blue Lock, Chigiri was a member of Team Z. Chigiri spent half of the First Selection avoiding participation or keeping it to a minimum, but when Isagi motivated him in Team Z's third match, he decided to let go of his fear and play football to become the best striker in the world like his rivals.
Chigiri is a young man with reddish-pink hair and deep pink eyes. Chigiri has always had a very feminine face since she was young, as evidenced by her long eyelashes and soft facial features. She is often referred to as "Kunoichi" or "Princess" due to her feminine appearance, sometimes mistaken for a girl at first glance; he often refutes it with the words, "I'm a boy." Other players have praised him for his appeal, though he seems indifferent to those comments. She looks a lot like her mother and older sister. Chigiri's hair only reached his neck until he tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right leg, after which he let it grow. Nagi is a lazy and relaxed boy, before the end of the First Blue Lock Selection he was a disinterested and lazy boy who looked for the solution that required the least effort without having almost any interest in soccer and only playing it due to Reo's constant requests.

In his match against Team X in the First Selection, Nagi began to show signs of his "passion" due to having to really try hard to win, however it was his match against Team Z that marked him when he saw that everyone on his team was being outclassed and they had managed to tie them despite Nagi having given his all. Even when he was defeated, his passion was so much that even for the first time he took the initiative and tried to talk to Reo to score two goals quickly before time runs out, however time runs out seconds later and he ends up losing, giving him the taste of true defeat and frustration.

After his defeat, Nagi completely changed his way of thinking, a great passion for soccer began to be born in him, for the first time in his life he found something that motivated him to try hard and not choose the easy way, even so he continues to maintain his lazy and carefree attitude towards other things, but he maintains his passion for soccer.

Seishiro Nagi (凪なぎ 誠せい士し郎ろう, Nagi Seishirō?) is the protagonist of the spin-off Blue Lock Episode Nagi. He is a candidate eliminated from the Blue Lock project and played in the position of right winger for the English team Manshine City of the Neoegoist League. However, he has been one of 301 players contacted by Hirotoshi Buratsuta to compete in the SIDE-B project for the Japanese U-20 National Team's remaining places at the U-20 World Cup.
Nagi is a remarkably tall teenager. She has messy white hair that leaves a V-shaped fringe between her eyes like Isagi. It has gray eyes with large irises.
When he went to high school, Nagi wore a school uniform that consisted of a white sports jacket with a cascading star pattern on the collar, though underneath he wore a dark hoodie instead of a dress shirt and tie. He was wearing dress pants and dress shoes as well.

In Blue Lock, Nagi wears the standard suit (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection in the V Team he wore the number 11. During the Second Selection in the White Team, the Third Selection in the C Team and the match against the Japanese U-20 National Team he wore the number 7. During the Neoegoist League at Manshine City he has worn the number 11 again.

Bachira has a rather eccentric demeanor and personality. He is usually very energetic, cheerful, and enthusiastic during matches, and rarely loses his cool and desire to play, describing soccer as something fun to play with others. Bachira immediately identifies with the also eccentric and energetic Lavinho, and is inspired by his way of playing soccer. He has a tendency to fall asleep at unexpected times, such as when he was sleeping during the Tag match. He mostly falls asleep and ends up relying on Isagi or Kuon to wake him up, and then falls asleep during his team meetings. He is also known to fall asleep during meals. He also tends to appear completely naked after every soccer training and match. When the Neo-Egoist League begins, Bachira takes his soccer training more seriously in an effort to become the world-class egoist he imagines himself to be and get closer to becoming the best in the world. Bachira is now actively training with weights.

During his childhood, he was actively bullied due to his eccentric personality and exceptional skill in soccer, making him terrified of being alone. This trauma causes Bachira to create an imaginary friend who is a "monster", more specifically a soccer monster, because he motivates Bachira and his plays in the game. It is only after arriving at Blue Lock that Bachira begins to confront his trauma because he finds people he is similar to and can call friends, such as Yoichi Isagi. Bachira can be seen casually befriending all sorts of people despite his somewhat odd behavior, including Isagi, Rin, Chigiri, and Kunigami.

Bachira is a capricious striker who plays according to his instinct. He belonged to the Z Team during the First Selection. His main goal was to find soccer rivals who also had a "monster" inside, but his goal then changes to become the best striker in the world when he overcomes his childhood trauma.
Bachira is a young man with a slim build, above-average height and an oval-shaped face. She has bright yellow eyes and hair cut along her chin and is black with golden streaks (when Bachira was younger, her hair only reached her ear). When he was in a youth soccer league, he wore the number 8 jersey. During the Chiba Prefectural Tournament, Bachira wore the No. 8 jersey of the Namikaze Institute, which had a special bird design in the center.

In Blue Lock, Bachira wears the standard suit (black with gray stripes) and a tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore the blue jersey number 8 of Team Z, and during the Second Selection, he wore the number 16 jersey of the White Team which later changed to red. During the Third Selection, he switched between the black jersey number 7 of Team A and the white and blue jersey number 7 of Team C.During

Isagi is a normally friendly and nice guy, being very helpful and understanding of others.

When he enters his ecstatic mode for football Isagi is totally transformed, having a determined, analytical and very direct attitude, he focuses only on his goal without caring about anything else, seeing the best way to manipulate the situation to reach his final goal being a true egoist who will focus on his personal victory.

Isagi can humiliate and degrade others in a highly direct way, however instead of being insults or empty degradations based on his ego or his feelings, Isagi relies on logic to say his words based on events that have occurred before, causing the humiliated to not be able to deny him since he is right. his reasons for this being mainly to others who had previously demoted him such as Barou or Kaiser, although this only goes to those who attack him mainly, since normally with his opponents on the field Isagi maintains a relationship of respectful rivalry taking into account the regular nicknames and insults that the players give each other.
While attending Ichinan High School, he wore an unbuttoned blazer over a white T-shirt and a striped tie. Both the Ichinan Institute T-shirt and the gymnastics uniform are light-colored with black stripes.

In Blue Lock, Isagi wears the standard body suit (black with blue stripes) and tracksuit. During the First Selection, he wore the blue jersey #11 of the Z Team and wears his gray cleats. Yoichi Isagi (潔いさぎ世よ一いち, Isagi Yoichi?) is the protagonist of the Blue Lock series.

Isagi is a second-year high school student, who previously played as a striker for the Ichinan High School football team. When he arrived at the Blue Lock facility, he became a member of Team Z for the First Selection. His main goal is to become the best striker in the world.

After Blue Lock's number 11 played against the Japanese U-20 National Team, Isagi was ranked as one of Blue Lock's best players and played as an attacking midfielder at Bastard München in the Neo-Selfish League. He currently plays as a starting center forward for the Japanese U-20 National Team at the U-20 World Cup.

Unlike the other hopefuls who were chosen by Anri Teieri after watching them play, Isagi was personally chosen by Jinpachi Ego after watching him play. Isagi is an ideal candidate for the type of striker Ego wants to create.
Isagi is a relatively tall teenager with an average muscular build, developing a stronger, more defined-looking physique. She has short blue hair that leaves a V-shaped fringe between her blue eyes.

As a child, Rin was very innocent and awestruck by his brother, Sae, wanting nothing more than to become a cool and strong player like him. He started playing soccer because his brother told him to, following his orders without question. While they played soccer together, Rin listened to what Sae said and adjusted accordingly. When Sae left for Spain, Rin discovered that soccer was more difficult without his brother, but he strived to be like him and replace him. This is where the essence of Rin's playing style began to shift from his instinctive approach to a more logical one.

Initially, he was a good team player and captain of his high school team, and he seemed to get along well with some of his teammates. However, due to the consequences of his actions with his brother, he has become cold, direct, and overly serious. He is completely focused on soccer, to an almost obsessive degree, and is also very selfish, always putting his goals and motivations before others. Rin has a lot of pride as a striker, bordering on arrogance, as he frequently describes other people's soccer and way of thinking as "lukewarm" or "mediocre." These gestures and behaviors stemmed from his brother. In an attempt to be like his brother, Rin copies his words and embodies his way of thinking.

Rin seems to respect almost no one. He'll only acknowledge your presence if you possess a notable and disruptive skill or influence on the soccer field. He appears to have no friends, only rivals (only Isagi and Bachira seem to have any real connection with him). During the match against the Under-20s, he's more talkative with the team, giving instructions on the field and speaking specifically with Isagi.

Rin commits to a post-care routine at the end of each day to improve his physique, and he can often be found in the training room doing exercises or lifting weights.

Shidou is an eccentric player in Blue Lock who has a strong penchant for violence or, more specifically, physical altercations. At the core of Shidou's personality is the urge to play football because it is a biological phenomenon that makes him feel whole. Shidou scores goals to pass on his genes and leave his mark on the world; it is their only focus. Shidou is a tall, tanned young man with spiky blonde hair with a faded pink at the ends and two strands falling on either side of his face. She has a pink iris with white pupils like those of a cat, and has a height and physique similar to that of Rin Itoshi. He is very expressive and is often seen with a smile.
