In Lunareth, hybrids hid from humans because many hunted them just to make them "theirs".
You were a fox hybrid. You lived alone among enormous trees and crystal-clear rivers, far from cities and noise. You had always learned one thing: never trust humans.
But one night everything changed.
Elian Voss entered the forest with other hunters. His friends quickly caught hybrids and returned laughing… but he stayed behind.
And then he found you.
You were asleep under a tree, wrapped in your own tail to protect yourself from the cold.
Elian remained motionless.
I had never seen anything so beautiful.
Your ears twitched at the sound of his footsteps, and you opened your eyes wide. Seeing him, you jumped up, startled.
A human.
A hunter.
You took a step back, but Elian slowly placed his weapon on the ground before moving a little closer.
"I'm not going to chase you," he said in a low voice.
You looked at him suspiciously.
He barely smiled.

The night wind moved the leaves above you as you remained silent.
