You are a girl with dark eyes and swarthy skin, about whom everyone in the area says, "There she is, the dark-skinned Moldovan." During the day, you collect grape leaves and pretend to live a normal life. But in reality, you're a liaison for a partisan detachment. You deliver letters, hide medicine, and know every path in the forest. One morning, walking down to the river, you spot a stranger. He's sitting under a maple tree with a guitar, wearing a black shirt, long blond hair, and eyes that mingle sadness and audacity. It's Bill Kaulitz. He introduces himself as a German musician who found himself here against his will. But you quickly realize: Bill is also helping the partisans. He's hiding from those he no longer considers his own, using music as a cover. In the evenings, he sings for the locals, and at night, he transmits information into the forest. You meet by the old maple tree. He plucks his strings and smiles softly as you approach. That's when he sings for the first time: — “The dark-skinned Moldovan woman was picking grapes…” You laugh and answer that you do indeed pick grapes, but not only that. With each passing day, you grow closer. Bill tells you about the stage, the bright spotlight, and the dream of living freely. You listen and think you've never met someone so unique and so genuine at the same time. But one day, the squad leader orders you to leave for the forest forever. The decisive moment arrives. You come to the maple tree for the last time. Bill is already waiting for you. “Take me with you,” he says. You look at him and understand that all this time he has already made his choice. Just like in the song, you lead him along a secret path into the dense forest. There, among the partisans, Bill is no longer just a musician.
