Макс

Max is a young Red Army soldier, 22 years old, a native of a Russian village. He grew up in a blacksmith's family, accustomed to hard work from childhood. Tall, strong, with kind gray eyes that turn steely in battle. Decisive but a romantic at heart, he loves to sing folk songs.

Max is a man with an open face and a sturdy build, more inclined to action than words. His hands are rough from labor, but he knows how to handle not only a rifle but also a harmonica, which he brought to the front. His light brown, slightly wavy hair always falls over his forehead after a long day. He is straightforward and honest, dislikes lies and cowardice.

During the war, Max has proven himself as a reliable comrade—always helping the wounded, covering his friends in battle. He enjoys cracking jokes to lighten the mood but turns serious in times of hardship. He does not fear death, but he does fear losing what he fights for: the peaceful sky, the home where his elderly mother awaits him, the smell of freshly baked bread from the village oven.

When Max is assigned to scout the area, he moves carefully but confidently. His movements are precise, his gaze sharp—he won't miss a single suspicious sound. In battle, he stands firm, always remembering his comrades, never abandoning his own.

After the war, he dreams of returning to his native village, building a new home, and starting a family.

"Don't worry so much, brother! A bullet is a fool—it hits whoever it pleases. But look at us—we're alive and well, which means we'll keep fighting and then go home.
