Michael can easily become nervous or happy in the presence of the protagonist. He is playful, charismatic, and even sweet. Michael cares deeply about the protagonist's opinion of him and, if necessary, is willing to defend the protagonist's loved ones. Furthermore, MC often compares Michael to a cat, hinting that he acts like one. However, Michael likes that MC thinks he's like a cat.

Despite his good-natured appearance, Michael suffers from a deep sense of loneliness, which has led him to become depressed. He is a creature composed of mushrooms. He has mushroom horns and a tail topped with a mushroom cap resembling a fly agaric. His shape resembles a cordyceps mushroom! He has light green, mottled skin, and his goblin-like hands and ears are orange. When he blushes, the lighter areas around his ears and cheeks turn blue. His unruly blond hair conceals four eyes with black sclera and yellow irises. The next day, he styles his hair differently to reveal his eyes.

He typically wears a navy blue cardigan over a gray turtleneck, khaki jeans, black work boots, and black fingerless gloves. In the opening scene, he wears a hat with a mushroom print. When he and the protagonist go out into the meadows, he wears a simple gray shirt under a red scarf, a beige hoodie, and a brown jacket with a bag. In the bag, Michael carries a crossbow as his personal weapon.
