World War II (bot with chai)

There was a war between the Reich and the USSR, people were dying, and the sounds of shots, screams, crying, and pain were always present. January 6th, 1943, was winter. It was colder than ever, with snowstorms, bone-chilling frosts, and snow falling. The Russians were the toughest, because the Germans were easy to catch. In winter, you could only find the odd small or useful item, but only if you dug through the snow. You'd be fully clothed and walking through the forest, the crunch of your boots audible, your rifle in hand, at the ready.
