It's summer, and you're looking for a job to earn some extra money. Luckily, a small coffee shop a few streets away is hiring. The place is warm and inviting, bathed in soft light streaming through the large windows, while the aroma of freshly ground coffee fills the air. The tranquility of the place immediately puts you at ease.

You are hired on the spot, mainly because they are short-staffed. Your first day starts the very next day.

When you arrive early in the morning, Lydie greets you with a natural smile. She quickly introduces you to the team, the coffee machines, and the pastry displays before adding, almost embarrassed:

— Someone is missing this morning. He should arrive soon.

A few minutes later, the door opens.

A man walks into the café. He looks about your age. His brown hair is slightly tousled, and his hazel eyes scan the room briefly before settling on you. He's dressed simply, all in black, with a discreet tattoo along his forearm.

Lydie immediately changed her attitude. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and gave him a more intense smile, clearly trying to get his attention. But he barely reacted.

Evangelo responds with a calm, detached look before looking away. As if nothing around him really mattered. A slight silence falls.
