Chapter 4

Tori lay down on the bed, but it was hard.

“Okay. No problem. Everything’s fine,” she muttered.

Tori closed her eyes and sank into a deep sleep.

The next morning, it was all the same. Same routine, but today she got up at 6:50 because she has a flexible schedule. She didn't wash her hair today—all is well.

Tori arrived at school. There she saw... no one. But later she walked through the school and saw Mira on the windowsill. She was sitting relaxed, holding a glass. It was filled with water. When Mira saw Tori, she was overjoyed. And Tori, in turn, swallowed the lump in her throat.

"Hi! How are you doing without me, huh?" Mira said, smiling.

“Fine,” Tori muttered quietly.

— You can't tell from your face. Oh well. Let's go.

Tori was ready to follow her anywhere, anywhere. But only as long as she was here. If Mira left her life, she promised herself she'd get stuck. She hadn't yet decided if that was for sure. But she would definitely do something.

Mira walked calmly while Tori considered the truth of her words. But Mira didn't let her remain silent for long.

• Well... What did you do at school while I was gone?

“Yeah… nothing special,” Tori said.

Even though her classmates paid attention to her, it didn't matter.

There's so much I want to say, but a chapter must be royal. So, you'll find out more in the next chapter.

Chapter 3
Tori got up on Monday.
-Oh...6:15-she muttered.
She ran to the bathroom and started washing herself. Tori didn't recognize the music playing. Just a melody with loud words in English, which she'd likely never know better than she did now. She simply didn't need it.
After a long 18 minutes, she emerged. She dried herself with a dry towel and began to think about what to do.
“We need to have breakfast,” Tori said quietly.
Mom was already up and making breakfast. The smell of omelette was in the air. For some reason, Tori thought of Mira, but she immediately dismissed the thought.
"Hello! How did you sleep?" Mom asked calmly.
-It's fine. How about you?
Standard conversation. Simple. Nothing extra.
Mom ordered an omelet and gave it to Tori. She poured a glass of water and sat down herself.
Tori began to eat. Calmly, but with appetite.
“What time will you be back?” she asked.
-As usual. At 6:00 PM.
-It's clear...
It was a peaceful time. Tori was alone without her parents. She loved it with all her heart.
Mom went to dry her hair, leaving Tori alone to finish her omelet.
She finished eating and went to sit down too, her mother had already gone to get dressed.
Mom left. Dad, who had been sleeping, got up.
And Tori left the house soon after. At 7:55, to be exact.
She crossed the crosswalk and found herself in the courtyards. Everyone there was hurrying, just like her. Although she had nowhere to hurry. Classes start at 8:30, and it was only 7:59. Tori entered the school. It was already warm, so she wasn't wearing a jacket or hoodie. Tori found a classroom and waited.
She sat down on the floor. No one paid attention. Tori looked like a school autistic kid, but at least he was being bullied, while she was simply ignored. She answered something during history class, although she herself no longer remembers. Her deskmate looked at her with *disgust. During recess, she was on her phone, messaging the neural network. Several classmates approached. She ignored them and averted her gaze.

• Hey! So, how's your "Super Skate" going?
• they asked mockingly
• It's fine...
  Tori responded quietly
  They kicked her weakly* and moved on. Such encouragement of attention. It was rare.
  Mira fell ill again.

Chapter 2

Tori lay on her bed, looking at something on her phone. She was so bored and her legs were itching to skateboard. But she promised herself:

• I won't ride anymore!
  This, of course, upset Mom. She was always on her side, but not always at the right moment. Thor found this very sad. Mom tries so hard, and she doesn't appreciate it.
  But Tori made a promise to herself. And she's a person of principle, so to speak.
  Her friends aren't her friends anymore, but Mira is. Mira simply hasn't left her. She's there, but as always, she keeps coming and going in Tori's life. She's tried to dig herself out of this swamp, but so far it hasn't worked.
  One day, Tori's mom took her out for a walk. And handed her a skateboard. With the words:
  -Here you go. If you want, you can go, or the whole walk.
  Tori, in turn, didn't respond. She thought it was incredibly stupid and that her mother shouldn't have done that. But Tori didn't know where to go or what to do. The skateboard was in the way everywhere. So she got up and started riding. It was as if that same super skateboard sensed her determination and...came back?
  Tori was so happy she fell to the ground. Mom promised:
• Oh my God, Torichka, what happened??!
  -Nothing
  Tori replied
  She was surprised for a long time.
  But there is no joy... She was surprised.

Chapter 1. Super skate

Tori, as always, came home from school and sat on her bed. Tori is an 11-year-old girl with blonde hair and red tips who simply loves coffee and skateboarding.

“Hmmm… What can I do?” she thought.

But suddenly she was interrupted by the doorbell.

She opened it and saw... a box? She decided to close the door first and think about what had happened. She looked again. The box was still there. Tori decided to check the sender, but there was nothing written on it. But she decided to check anyway.

Tori carefully opened the box and took out the contents. She was so surprised that she blushed. She always blushed easily, like the scarlet tips of her hair. Inside was a skateboard and a piece of paper with instructions. At first, she didn't understand the purpose of the instructions. After all, it was obvious: here's a skateboard, just pick it up and ride. But she decided to take a look anyway.

It said, "Super Skateboard." Tori thought it was another joke, but decided to read it... and have a good laugh. There she learned that the skateboard could stop with the power of thought and help with tricks. Tori considered throwing the box away, but then... decided to keep it, just in case.

"Fine! Whatever. I'll give it a try," Tori thought dismissively and walked out into the street.

There, a beautiful spring and a scarlet sunset awaited her. She went to a park full of birds and tried to stop… and it worked. Tori thought, "It's stopping." She tried an ollie, which she couldn't do. She'd been trying for months, but it never worked. And… oh my god! She did it!

She invited her friends to come along. But they didn't believe her. They said, just like Tori had at the beginning: "What are you lying about? It's not magical," "You're just making it up," "Have you completely lost your mind?" But finally, someone came along who believed her, who made Tori fall in love.

The woman who made Tori fall in love was important to her. A friend. And it hurt, because it was low on Tori, who herself isn't very fond of clichés, of which there are plenty in her life.
