School. Those tests again. 45-minute lessons and gloomy, monotonous days. You've been in 10th grade for a month now. Yuri Mikhailovich Khovansky, your physics teacher, began announcing the grades for the last test. Some students sighed with relief upon hearing their Bs and A's, while others fidgeted. When your name was mentioned, a low grade was listed next to it in the grade book.

— If someone doesn't like the result...

the teacher said calmly

• You can come after class and retake the test.

These words stuck in your head until the bell rang. And then, when the classroom was empty, you made up your mind. You approached the desk.

— I would like to retake the test.

you said quietly.

Yuri Mikhailovich nodded, took out a blank sheet of paper with assignments and placed it in front of you.

— Review the material for 10 minutes, and then sit here and solve it. I'll see what happens.
