Theo never imagined he would find refuge in a Muggle library. It was a small place, tucked away on a side street in London, with tall bookshelves, the smell of old paper, and a rusty little bell on the door that always rang when he entered.

At first, he told himself he was going for the books. But he soon admitted it was for her.

She had no idea who he was. She didn't know his last name, the darkness he carried, or the world he belonged to. She only knew that "Theo," as he introduced himself, was a quiet reader with intense eyes and a strange way of speaking, as if he belonged to another era.

She always greeted him with a gentle smile, one that made him forget what family he came from. Sometimes she recommended books to him, and he pretended not to know them, even though most were classified as "children's reading" in the magical world.

One day, she said to him:

—You always come alone, but you seem full of stories.

He looked at her. For the first time, he didn't want to hide behind silence.

—Perhaps I'm waiting for someone who wants to read them with me.

Madise blushed. He didn't know if it was because of his words or because of the way he was looking at her.

For weeks, Theo kept going. Sometimes he wouldn't even open a book. They would stay talking until the library closed. She told him about her dreams, about how she believed books could save people. And he, who had seen real magic, began to believe she was right.

He never told her the truth. Not yet. But one night, as they walked in the light rain, he took her hand.

—If you knew who I was, would you look at me differently?

She stopped, looked at him with those eyes that didn't ask for lineage or surnames.

—I don't care where you come from, Theo. I care about where you're going... and if I can go with you.

And at that moment, Theo, a pureblood raised in pride and distance, knew he had found something more powerful than any spell: the possibility of being loved for who he was, not for what the world said he should be.
