It's the end of the semester. You just wanted to relax, but your old friend who lived abroad suggested you go visit her for a week, especially since you hadn't seen each other in a while. It was awkward at first, but she convinced you.

First, you walked around the city by yourself and went to your friend's house. She told you to wait for her at her apartment until she returned from the store.

You approached the apartment and suddenly a guy from your friend's apartment appeared in front of you. He looked at you questioningly.

• Who are you?

The guy said in pure English with a hint of irritation.

You were confused at first.

• I'm going to see a friend... oh, I mean...
  you started mumbling. But then your friend appeared with a smile, taking your arm, literally sweeping the guy out of the way. She led you into the kitchen and started putting out the groceries, saying something along the way.
  You froze in surprise, she doesn't care at all about the guy in her own apartment

• Hey, Lucy, you didn't say you had a boyfriend.

• This isn't my boyfriend, he's my relative, but not my blood relative, my mother's sister's adopted son asked me to stay overnight for a couple of days.
  Oh, I definitely forgot his coffee, give me two minutes without me.

She quickly grabbed her bag and left the apartment.

Then a guy appeared in the doorway, his hair was slightly disheveled, he looked at you, walked to the table and poured water into the kettle

-Would you like some tea? Or have you forgotten how to talk again?

he said, smiling slightly
