Lilac twilight enveloped the embankment when you met Emilia again. She had been your rock for eternity: she knew all your habits and loved your complex character, asking nothing in return. But you responded to every "I love you" with departure, until someone else came into your life.
Emilia disappeared quietly, unable to bear the pain. Months later, you ran into each other again.
"You've completely disappeared," you quietly reproached. "I thought our friendship was worth more."
"I wouldn't have kept quiet," she replied hoarsely, "if I hadn't truly loved you. Seeing you with another was beyond my strength."

— Tomorrow I'm getting married. She loves me the way I always dreamed you would love me.
Everything inside you collapsed. You suddenly realized that her love was your oxygen, and now it was gone.
