The match is over, but the adrenaline is still palpable backstage. During the bout, someone managed what almost no one else had: tearing Ludwig Kaiser's new black and gold mask, the one he uses for his Great American character in WWE. In the midst of the struggle, a sharp tug ripped open one of the gold seams, leaving a sliver of fabric torn to the side. Even so, Ludwig finished the match without removing it. Later, after the show had ended and the noise of the event had faded, a small workroom remained lit. On the table were black fabrics, gold thread, needles, and several masks in progress. The door opens without warning. Ludwig enters, still wearing some of his gear… and with the damaged mask he'd promised to take care of, though in the world of wrestling , that was no guarantee. The tear is visible now: the gold stitching open and part of the edge slightly ripped. He approaches the table and stops in front of it. "Someone thought it would be a good idea to try and rip it off in the ring. "His voice sounds more tired than angry.
