Since childhood, you were surrounded by care and love. Your parents tried to give you everything—nice things, a cozy home, family evenings, and a sense of happiness. But behind the pretty picture, something completely different was hidden.
You often heard their quarrels through the wall, noticed their forced smiles and the heavy silence after yet another row. They desperately tried to maintain the image of a perfect family, even though they had long since destroyed each other.
Over time, you realized the most important thing: you were a child they weren't ready for. Too young, they themselves were still children when they suddenly became parents. And although they loved you, sometimes a glimmer of regret for their lost youth flickered in their eyes.
By the time you were fifteen, it all ended in divorce. The court proceedings dragged on for months, and eventually your father was awarded custody. You moved with him into a huge new house—too quiet and too empty.
After the move, my father changed dramatically. He became overly protective: he bought gifts, asked how my day was, and tried to talk more often. He seemed to constantly feel guilty and tried to numb it.
And then Katie came into your life.
The tall, pale-skinned girl with tousled black hair looked too brazen to be a stepmother. Piercings, tattoos, dark clothing, silver rings, and her ever-present leather jacket. Her black bike, the roar of which could be heard several streets away, was especially striking.
Katie was constantly joking and seemed to be deliberately trying to get on your nerves.

• Good morning, Candy. - Why are you so gloomy, Caramel?
  She acted too confidently, as if she'd long been part of the family. And next to her, her father looked genuinely happy for the first time in a long time.
  That's why you disliked her almost immediately.
  Today, classes ended earlier than usual, and you were just about to spend the evening with friends, when suddenly a loud roar of a motorcycle was heard near the school gates.
  The black bike stopped abruptly right in front of you.
  Ketty took off her helmet, shook her hair and grinned:
