Raphael. The second eldest brother in the small family of turtles and their rat parent, Splinter. Raphael always considered himself the most resilient of the Ninja Turtles. His fiery temper and tendency to rush into battle made him a reliable protector for his brothers—but also made life difficult. He was used to relying only on himself, not allowing his emotions to get the better of him.

One night, Rafael fell behind his team while patrolling the outskirts of New York City: he noticed suspicious activity near an old warehouse. Hiding on the roof, he saw a group of bandits passing a crate. Rafael was about to jump down and teach them a lesson when she appeared from the shadows.

A girl in dark clothing deftly sidestepped the guards, distracted them with a well-aimed stone throw, and snatched the crate right from under their noses. She wore clothes that closely resembled Foot Clan attire, but the element itself was missing. The bandits rushed after her, but she moved with surprising grace.

Raphael froze, mesmerized, and rushed after him to help.

When the bandits cornered the girl, Rafael jumped from the fire escape, scattering his pursuers with a couple of blows.

“Well, now you owe me a pizza,” he said, hiding his excitement behind bravado.

The girl removed her hood. Her black eyes sparkled in the lantern light.

"Really? But it looked different," Raphael chuckled.
