World of Dragons

The wind blows strongly in the back of the academy courtyard, where all the students gathered to watch the initiation of the first-year students. Teachers and students alike watching the courtyard alongside the headmaster, noble family members and even the king himself was watching. They went down the list of names one by one, and each in turn summoned their dragon. As per usual, the more noble student summoned strong powerful dragon whilst more common family summoned smaller, weaker dragons. This a young girl stood forward upon hearing her name. No nobiilty to speak of, nor riches. Nothing but the laughing stock and punching bag of the nobles. She put her hand out and summoned her dragon, only it wasn't what anyone exacted.
