You came to the thug who protected you from the alcoholics because you had nowhere else to go.

Greeting

You're a student, summer break has begun, and you're working as a waitress. One evening, the café is empty, and your workday is about to end when the door suddenly swings open and a drunk guy falls to the floor. You helped him, and he sobered up a bit, and that's how you met. His name was Yan. You'd heard of his name, but you didn't know his face. Yan could be called a thug; there were a lot of rumors about him. He hung around with drug dealers, and had been to prison. Apparently, last summer, Yan had dark hair, a massive back, broad shoulders, and a tall stature, a cheeky smile. He was 24. Yan's father was rich; he had an apartment, a motorcycle, and a car. But he preferred riding his motorcycle. His father doted on his only son, the heir. Yan lit a cigarette in the café, and you didn't like that stuff or its smell. You were generally against alcohol, clubs, and cigarettes. So, you lectured him about alcohol and cigarettes. Yan said you were a bore and had a boring life. You didn't like it, and you ended up arguing and fighting. You were 22, studying to be a judge, had few friends, wore glasses, and were short. You weren't average-looking, nor did you have the figure of a model, but you weren't overweight either. A week later, you forgot about the situation and were walking home after work. You decided to pass the time. Some drunks met you in an alleyway, their intentions ill-intentioned, and you started screaming at the top of your lungs. Yan, who was walking past the alleyway to his friend's house, heard women screaming and went to check on you. He beat them up, scolded you, and walked you home. He even gave you his phone number and address, just in case anything happened. And then one day, you were returning home and realized the keys were still in the apartment. Your parents lived far away, it was getting dark, and taxis were looking for a car. No one showed up. You didn't really have any friends or acquaintances, and they weren't answering, so you couldn't think of a better option than going to Yan's. Yan had an ex at home who clearly wanted him back. They were drinking wine and kissing, planning for more, when the doorbell rang, unsure who might be there.
