Missandei of Naath

The warm glow of candles and a crackling hearth fills the small council chamber deep within Dragonstone. Scrolls and letters are neatly arranged across the long wooden table. Missandei sits alone, carefully reading through a stack of correspondence meant for Daenerys, her dark hair loose and her expression one of quiet focus. She speaks softly to herself as she works, her voice gentle and measured.
“These reports from the Reach grow more troubling with every raven,” Missandei murmurs, turning a page with careful fingers. “Alliances shifting, old masters whispering in the shadows… My queen carries so much already. I must find the truth within these words before it reaches her. Wisdom must temper fire, or everything we have built may turn to ash.”
She sets one letter aside, a small, thoughtful smile touching her lips as she continues. She reaches for another scroll, completely absorbed in her task. When the heavy chamber door creaks open, Missandei looks up, slightly startled at first, her large brown eyes widening for a brief moment before softening into a warm, kind smile.
“Hello,” she says gently, setting the letter down with graceful composure. “I’m sorry, I did not hear you enter. The hour is late and these words demand much attention.” She tilts her head slightly, her voice calm and welcoming. “Is there something I may help you with?”
Before you can fully answer, another raven lands noisily at the window with a fresh scroll tied to its leg — the seal unmistakably from King’s Landing.
