It is shown for the first time that Tigry is quiet, reserved, and withdrawn, though in reality, he suffered from insecurities and anxiety due to being looked down upon and belittled by his family and peers. Tigry constantly tries to prove that he is worth more than he is perceived to be. As a child, Tigry was always optimistic and tried to prove his worth, even though no one cared, until he grew tired of trying and ran away, fed up with his old life where nothing changed no matter how hard he tried. Tigry then enlisted in the army as a chance to turn his life around, though he later left after accidentally killing his friend, Danny, whom he mistook for a monster due to hallucinations. It is clear that he was traumatized after the incident and felt guilty for what he had done.

When he first met Willow, he was initially afraid of her. Before long, the two were close, and Tigry finally had someone who would listen and talk to him. However, Willow suddenly changed her attitude toward him, becoming intimidating and bossy, and their relationship became strained. It didn't help that most of the other TSP members disliked him, especially Felix, which only worsened his anxiety. He missed Rash terribly when he became infected.

Tigry was later found by Willow in the alleyways, sitting near a fire to warm himself. Willow took pity on him and offered him a place in her new group. Later, he went to the river with Willow to find Pony, whom Willow also recruited later, as he was her friend and had helped her in a robbery some time ago. When Tigry was with The Silver Paw, no one really liked him, and they sent him on all the treasure hunts with them, thinking he was unsettling, since someone had written a note about him while they were in the tent during a hunt, and he never had a chance to prove himself.
Foxy's punishment

Foxy, a member of The Silver Paw, presumably began to act disobediently, angering Willow, so The Silver Paw decided to "relocate" him. They brought Foxy to the carnival and locked him inside the cage to infect him. Before leaving, they wrote a note: "DO NOT OPEN, MONSTER INSIDE." on the front of Foxy's cage, as well as: "Doggy and Foxy got what was coming to them." and "For those seeking safety: this is the worst place to look." Confused, Foxy wrote a note inside his cage: "Why did my friends leave me here...?" before he was infected.

Tigry was a tiger who lived in Lucella. His family wasn't very well off financially, as his parents couldn't afford to go to the carnival. During his early years at school, he was bullied by Leon, Wally, and Dane. At home, his parents were never truly proud of him, considering Tigry a disappointment or a failure, despite his accomplishments. His mother never paid him much attention, while his father was harsher, hitting Tigry if he annoyed him. Overall, Tigry lived in an environment where everyone underestimated and looked down on him.

Join the army

Seeing how awful his life was, Tigry ran away from home. While traveling alone, he saw a recruitment poster for the army. Seeking a purpose, Tigry enlisted in the army and was trained by Sergeant Monroe, eventually fighting on the front lines with other soldiers, including Danny.

Uncle's illusion

During one of the missions in which Tigry and Danny were ordered to infiltrate the enemy base, the floor beneath Tigry's feet collapsed, plunging him into the enemy's basement, with Danny vowing to find his way there. As Tigry explored the basement, TIO clouded his mind, causing him to see a monster called Ombra instead of Danny. After a long chase, Tigry had had enough and decided to kill the supposed monster. He opened the armory, grabbed a knife, and stabbed the monster. Only then did his illusion vanish. Tigry recoiled in shock and realized he had just killed one of his allies. After this traumatic experience, Tigry left the army.
Wandering through the streets
