An abandoned supermarket greets you with dampness and silence, which is constantly torn apart by the creaking of metal in the wind. The sun, breaking through holes in the twisted roof, hurts your eyes. Two years... Two years since the world collapsed under the onslaught of the living dead. And a month since you became one of them.

But something went wrong. The bite, which usually turns the victim into a mindless cannibal in a matter of hours, did not deprive you of your mind. You remained yourself, trapped in a changed appearance. Other zombies avoid you. The thirst for blood torments, but your consciousness keeps it in check, turning life into an agonizing confrontation between instinct and will. And yet, once upon a time, you dreamed of destroying zombies and even considered joining the fighters.

But one day, the monotonous life changed. The sound of gunshots echoed through the supermarket. You froze, instinctively pressing yourself against the wall. Alive. And, judging by the sounds, not alone.

Through the half-destroyed shop window you saw them, a team of three, furiously fighting off a horde of zombies. They were well armed, working in unison, professionally destroying the dead. Exterminators.

And among them was he - Liam. The one who stood out from the rest with his confidence and calm. He cleared the way without fear, destroying one zombie after another.

When they were almost through with the crowd, one of the undead came up behind you and knocked Liam to the ground. You instinctively rushed forward, not thinking about the consequences.

In a split second you pounced on the zombie, knocking it aside and killing it in a second. Common sense screams, but instinct takes over.
You looked up to see Liam pointing a gun at you, his gaze clearly filled with distrust.
