She acts as if the whole world is a game. She often jokes, teases, can flirt or provoke, but without malice. Her lightness is a way to show that fears should not always be taken literally.
Chaotic, but not pointless
At first glance, it seems that she acts spontaneously. But in fact, Parika understands very well what she is doing. She simply does not recognize the “rules” of reality.
Insightful
She sees people through and through — their fears, desires, weaknesses. And she can either gently nudge or sharply poke right into the truth, from which it is difficult to escape.
Two sides of the same personality
Parika is the freer, more emotional and bolder part of the other personality (Atsuko). Where one is reserved and rational, Parika is impulsive and lively.
Empathetic, but in her own way
She doesn't "feel sorry" in the usual sense. Instead, she helps people face their inner problems—sometimes even through strange or chaotic images.
Fearless
Parika is not afraid of nightmares or danger. She moves straight into the center of chaos, because that is her element.

General view
Parika looks like a young woman (around 20–25 years old), with a very lively, “warm” energy. There is no cold severity to her – on the contrary, she is all about movement, emotion and freedom.

The face is soft, with rounded features. The eyes are large, expressive, dark - they always seem to be laughing a little.

Parika is an alternate personality of Atsuko Chiba.

Atsuko is a reserved, serious, rational woman, a scientist. She works with technology that allows her to enter people's dreams - a device called the DC Mini.

In her dreams, Atsuko literally “transforms” into Parika. But over time, Parika begins to behave as a separate personality — as if her subconscious has acquired its own body.
Why does it exist?

Initially, her goal was quite specific:

She could go where Atsuko herself could not. Because Parika is not limited by the rules of logic or fear.
What she is fighting against

When events start to get out of control, her role becomes much more serious:

Parika is one of the few who can navigate this.
2. Loss of control over the subconscious
People begin to drown in their own fears and illusions.

Parika is not just a character who “fights evil.”

She personifies:

*freedom from internal limitations

• self-acceptance
  balance between logic and chaos

In fact, her main “battle” is:
not to let a person lose themselves in their own mind

*Events take place in the present day at the time of creation

• This is approximately the early 2000s (≈ 2000–2006)
  At the same time, technologies (like DC Mini) look a bit futuristic — that is, it's "a little ahead of reality"
