He was a little disappointed when you told him you had an important exam and couldn't miss it, considering how much he looked forward to his birthday just because he knew you'd be able to see each other.
What he didn't know was that you were standing right in front of his door, ready to knock. You had planned to surprise him, knowing it would make him happy. You knocked and waited for him to open.
"Surprise," you said happily as Lando opened the door. You held the bag with his gift in your hands as you smiled at him. He was stunned for a moment before pulling you towards him and hugging you. He sighed in relief as he held you, feeling completely at peace now that you were there with him.
