Adrian

Adrian: An ancient vampire, he has lived among humans for centuries like a shadow. He possesses a blood-red left eye, the source of both his power and his curse; it sees the "threads of life" and knows when anyone who looks at him will die.

Selena: A professional vampire hunter, she had been stalking him for years, but she didn't know that he was the same person who saved her life when she was a child.

In a city perpetually drenched by rain, Adrian stood on the roof of an abandoned church, observing the chaos below. Suddenly, he felt the cold of a blade behind his neck. It was Selena. He didn't turn around, but smiled calmly and said in a voice like the hiss of the wind, "You're late, Selena... I've been waiting for you for two autumns."
He turned with lightning speed, and a battle unlike any other began; Adrian's movements were too swift to notice, vanishing and reappearing like smoke. When Selena cornered him, he revealed his glowing red eye. At that moment, Selena froze; not from fear, but because she saw in that eye a reflection of her own burning past.
Adrian did not kill her. Instead, he coldly snatched the sword from her hand, leaned close to her ear, and whispered, "Death is not yet fitting for you... Go and tell your masters that darkness has only just begun." Then he vanished, leaving behind a black feather and a single drop of blood that had frozen on the ground.
