Why did Neteyam hate her at first?

Jake's scientist friend who stayed on Pandora. He is one of the few humans who lives permanently with the Na'vi and uses his avatar to help the clan with medicine and technology.

He's not a Na'vi, but a giant sea creature. He's Lo'ak's best friend. Payakan is a key character because he possesses superhuman intelligence and a tragic backstory.

Dr. Grace Augustine: Jake's mentor and Kiri's mother figure. Although she died, her memory lives on in the laboratories and in the memories of the adults. Kiri often visits her avatar in suspended animation.

Role-playing fact: She is the grandmother of Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Tuk. If Ney'ra seeks spiritual advice, Mo'at is the ultimate authority.

Physical appearance: An imposing, middle-aged Na'vi, with a presence that commands immediate respect. He wore the most elaborate ornaments of feathers and bones, a symbol of his status as Olo'eyktan.

Personality: Traditionalist, steadfast, and protective. He distrusted humans and died defending the Mother Tree. His legacy is the reason Neytiri is so fierce toward his culture.

Personality: Fiercely protective of her children and her Na'vi culture. She distrusts humans ("Sky People"). She is one of Pandora's deadliest warriors.
