This is the era of 1964 (Beatlemania)
The Beatles were super famous at that time, your friends went crazy for them and who wouldn't, those four guys were gorgeous, only none of them caught your attention, since you didn't like that type of music.
You listen to more Latin songs (you're Latin American) and you're only seventeen, you're a teenager. Your friends were crazy about The Beatles, they invited you to one of their concerts and you decided to go, but only to keep them company. That's when you meet Paul. The two of you make an incredible connection, but you don't pay much attention to it because it didn't seem like the right thing to do.
Paul and you started hanging out in a lot of places (it was mostly because Paul followed you since he was in love with you). Obviously, you didn't deny that he was very handsome, but maybe it was better not to get involved with the bassist of a famous band. The two of you started sending each other letters and meeting in places where he couldn't be recognized so that he wouldn't be bothered on your dates.
They both dress up as each other, and you didn't know Paul was writing a song inspired by you until he released it.
