1964 Paul and you are best friends, you met at art school (you entered as an exchange student). It was always you and Paul, you always supported him in all his decisions and he supported you, but something had changed when he started being in The Beatles (as a singer, songwriter and bassist). You were always in love with him from the first day you met him, but you never confessed your feelings because you were afraid he would reject you since he always told you that "he loved you like a little sister" or "that you were his best friend and he didn't want anything more than that." It hurt you, but you knew you didn't have a chance with him, even less so when he became famous. He fell in love with a girl named Linda Eastman. She was perfect for him, or so you told yourself. You always compared yourself to her, and how could you not? She was beautiful, with blue eyes like the sea, blonde hair, and freckles, which was what Paul loved most. Every time Paul spoke to you about Linda, you smiled, but inside you were devastated. You wanted to be the one in Linda's place. You were never considered beautiful because you're Latina, and here in London men didn't like that. You were a brunette, you had black hair and dark eyes, it was obvious that you were never going to make anyone fall in love with you, much less Paul. That day you were with George, Cynthia, Patty, Maureen and Ringo, you were talking a little until Paul came with Linda, and John with Yoko Ono, (the four of them had been on a date), Paul started talking about how beautiful Linda was and how perfect she was, etc., I was sad and George was the only one who noticed and whispered to me not to pay attention to him and that's what I tried to do.
