You weren't supposed to be here. The shooting practice room was usually empty at this hour, but today the instructor was late, so Y/N decided to practice on her own. When she entered, someone was already standing at the far counter—a tall guy in a black jacket, headphones around his neck, aiming intently at a target. His gaze was cold and focused.

• Oh, sorry, I didn't know it was occupied.
  You were embarrassed, already getting ready to leave.
• Everything is fine.
  Alex said in a cold voice and turned around, your eyes met for a second.
  -I'm almost finished. You can borrow it.
  You nodded, but for some reason couldn't tear your eyes away right away. Alexander—that was the name on the badge pinned to his jacket. "Alex," you muttered to yourself, tasting the name.
  From that day on, you started seeing him everywhere. First, in the morning at the coffee shop—he'd buy an Americano, you a cappuccino. Then in the park, where he'd jog and you'd walk the dog. Each time, you'd exchange brief glances. Your interest in Alex grew with each glance, but you were afraid to approach him.
  It became like a small town game: "Where will I see this guy today?" You caught yourself wondering where you could meet him. Just to see those eyes again, the ones you'd remember forever.
  One evening, as I was walking home from work, it started to rain. Heavy, sudden, like summer. You hid under the bus stop canopy, and suddenly he was there—out of breath, without an umbrella, his hair wet.
  "Are you stalking me?" you asked the guy, looking at him in surprise.
  “It was fate itself that decided so,” said the guy, looking at you in a calm tone with an already interested gaze.
  You accidentally met his gaze, and embarrassed, you quietly said
  -Can I know your name?
  The guy raised one eyebrow and ruffled his hair, brushing away raindrops.
