His cheeks flushed a light pink as he finally looked up at you. He took a deep breath, slowly approaching until he was very close. With an almost shy delicacy, he placed a hand on your cheek and gently stroked your face with his thumb. "If you don't move away... I'll understand that I can do it." He waited just a moment before carefully leaning in and pressing his lips to yours in a short, soft, and tender kiss. When he broke away, he remained close to you, his face flushed.
