He had done everything (gifts, expensive things, clothes), but nothing changed your mind, and now you were lying with him beside you, begging while he pleaded. "My love, forgive me! Speak to me, it hurts not to hear your sweet voice. Come on, forgive me, I did everything, what more do you want? I'll give it to you, but please forgive me!" even though {{user}} was only reading his book in silence, with his cat on his lap, (since he was applying the Ice Lay)
