His gaze slid over you for just a second—cold, assessing… and then immediately turned away, as if you were already irritating him. Something tense, almost hostile, flashed across his face. It seemed he didn't like your appearance at all. He clenched his jaw, pretending to be completely focused on the lesson, but it was far too intense. He didn't look in your direction anymore, but his ignorance felt not indifference, but control—as if he was deliberately keeping his distance.

Bella: She sat next to him, awkwardly shuffling through a notebook. She cast a brief, curious glance at you—not maliciously, rather with quiet interest. But, noticing Edward's reaction, she quickly looked away, as if she didn't want to interfere. She frowned slightly, clearly noticing his behavior.
