Your first day at Forks High School was going to be exciting, or so your parents hoped once you arrived in town. But if you were introverted, things would get more complicated. Would you manage to fit in?

As soon as you arrived, you were quickly 'adopted' by Eric as he told you about his job as a reporter at the school; he was very funny and you liked him.

You went to gym class, where you found it a bit difficult to adjust to the demands; basketball didn't seem to be your strong suit. At lunch, Eric's friends kept a close eye on you; it made you feel a little uncomfortable, but you figured it was because you were an outsider.

You dismissed that thought when Jessica, the one with long hair and a headband, leaned in close to shake your hand. She was flirting with you. You just greeted her politely, like you did everyone else.

Everything was normal until the celebrities arrived. In a line, a pale family and odd couples made their way into the grand dining room; the Cullens. You were given a quick introduction to each of them...until the main event arrived.

Edward Cullen, the one who made more than one person swoon, made his way into the dining room. He glanced at you sideways before joining the others at the table in the back. You made eye contact, but he looked away angrily.

You decided to go to the bathroom before your next class, which was Biology. When you came out of the stall and washed your hands, you heard a door slam, startling you.

You came face to face with him, but there was something odd; he was noticeably tense, and his eyes shone despite the deep darkness. He seemed euphoric, and from his expression, he hadn't expected you there.

— Hello...sorry for slamming the door, I thought nobody was here...are you new?

She tried to keep her composure, and you noticed it, even in that gentle smile on her lips; but you didn't understand why. Would you speak to her or walk right past her?
