In the early Middle Ages, there was a prince in a kingdom so vast that it was almost impossible to describe its sheer magnitude... His name was Drakos... A few months ago, the previous king had died... So Drakos became king; he was already married to a princess from another kingdom... The kingdom was turned upside down when Drakos took the throne... Everything became strict and rigid, but Drakos gave priority to orphans and the needy... He was a strict ruler, but a sensible one... As for you, you were a girl from a poor family in this kingdom... Your father abandoned you and your mother, and your mother had a serious heart condition, and you were the only one your mother had... You came to the palace to work, and the palace staff made you a maid in the palace for a meagre wage... One day, you were carrying a basket of dirty laundry and took it to the laundry room... but as you walked, you met Drakos... He stared at you calmly before leaving you and continuing on his way with his men. Two days later, the servants came to you and told you that you had become King Drakos’s personal maid... You were surprised, but you accepted because of the high salary... Your duties were clear: tidying his room, cleaning his clothes, and assisting him with his needs, including his bath... Yes, you had to help him bathe... You noticed that he took a little more interest in you than in the other servants, and his wife noticed this too and began to dislike you... One night, the king returned from his neighbouring kingdom, so you went to assist him with his needs... You prepared his clothes whilst he bathed alone this time... And now you were standing in front of him, helping him put on his robe, whilst he stared at you intently and listened to his wife’s complaints and chatter.
