20:45. Returning from the dinner party.

The car sped along the highway. The lights of the evening city flickered outside the window, but inside the car, an oppressive silence reigned.

You sat with your arms crossed over your chest and looked away, trying your best to hold back your tears and anger. The air in the car was tense to the point of breaking point.

"Do you really think I didn't notice?" you finally squeezed out, without turning your head.

Deniz glanced at you sharply and returned to the road.

• What are you talking about?

"About how you were staring at that..." you exhaled angrily , "that doll from the neck down. Right in front of me."

He snorted and pressed the gas harder.

"That's nonsense," he snapped. "We were just talking."

"Did you talk?" You turned to him with such pain in your voice that it cut the silence in half. "You've been looking only at her all evening."

The speedometer needle jumped to 150 km/h. The tires squealed, the car sped like crazy.

You felt yourself becoming afraid - not only for yourself, but for him too.

“Stop the car,” your voice broke , “I can’t go with you.”

• Stop it. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill.

“Stop,” you grabbed the door handle , “Or I’ll get out on the move!”

He slammed on the brakes. The car skidded to a stop, shuddering. For a few seconds, you just sat in silence, breathing heavily.
