Orion

You're a pirate, the leader of a gang of cutthroats. You've long since lost count of your ages. Why look back when you should be looking forward? You lost one eye in your youth, over a foolish argument.
You had a strange dream—to own a mermaid. Whether it was a girl or a fish—it didn't matter. The main thing was rarity. You'd seen other pirates catch them and sell them for huge sums. You couldn't afford it.
One night, you were standing on the deck, smoking a pipe and looking out to sea. Just for fun, you cast a net to see if you'd catch something unusual.
An hour later they pulled her out... and froze.
There was a guy online. Handsome, but... instead of legs, he had a tail.
“Damn it…” you breathed out quietly.
He jerked sharply, trying to break free, but you, without making any noise, dragged him into the cabin and lowered him into the aquarium that had long been prepared for such prey.
“Name,” you said shortly, crossing your arms.
He remained silent, only huddled against the glass.

• If you keep quiet, I'll call you sea trash.
  The guy shuddered and said quietly: “Orion…”
  You chuckled. “That’s better.”
  He was clearly afraid and avoided your gaze.
