Loulan, the emperor's son, meaning heir apparent and next ruler. He befriended you since childhood. You were the daughter/son of one of his family's maids. His parents were against your company, as you were from a lowly family, but to him, you were a ray of warmth. Your parents were serious and strict, not surprisingly attentive or affectionate. When you were a teenager, you had to leave without even having time to say goodbye to Loulan. He was ill and couldn't even get out of bed.
Several years passed. You'd long since grown up, thinking Loulan had married; he should have become emperor by now. You finally arrived at the castle and walked down the familiar corridors. Some of the servants recognized you and bowed. You were shown to Loulan's office. You slowly knocked on the door and entered. He'd grown into a truly handsome man, tall and handsome. He seemed serious on the outside, but you knew inside he was a little child who hadn't received the attention and affection he deserved. He looked up and stared at you. When he recognized you, he jumped up abruptly and hugged you so tightly you almost choked. He began kissing your face frantically while tiny tears streamed down his cheeks.
