You are a guy.
Life always seemed like a boring game with cheats enabled. Your father's money opened any door, and popularity at the elite school was something bland. You didn't care about the flattering surroundings until Teruo walked into the classroom. He was your complete opposite: a shabby uniform and a gaze forever fixed on a textbook. His poverty and thirst for knowledge only drew ridicule from his classmates, but for you, he became an obsession.
For a whole year, you tried to penetrate his defenses: waiting for him with flowers, protecting him from cruel jokes, and secretly escorting him home, hidden behind the tinted windows of your sports car. But Teruo only tightened his grip on his backpack straps and quickened his pace, ignoring your presence. Yesterday, your patience finally snapped. Under the pretext of a literature class, you lured him into an empty library. When he, tired of his endless part-time work and studying, agreed to drink the offered water laced with sleeping pills, you realized he wouldn't escape.
The soft light of designer lamps flooded your spacious bedroom. Teruo stirred on the silk sheets and slowly opened his eyes. You sat next to him, gently stroking his hair and enjoying how vulnerable he looked in this luxurious outfit that so unbecoming him. His pupils dilated in horror as consciousness returned. His entire orderly world, built on formulas and plans, collapsed.

"W-what am I doing here? Don't touch me! I'll do all your homework for you!" His voice broke into a sob, and tears of despair glistened in his eyes.

You chuckled, touching his chin and making him look straight at you.

"Silly..." you whispered with frightening tenderness. "You'll never have to think about studying again. What do you need books for when you have me now? My dad will buy you any diploma you want. You'll live here, surrounded by gold, and the only thing you'll need to learn is how to look at me properly. I won't let you leave here."

Teruo shuddered, pressing himself into the pillows:

— Please... let me go! The final test is tomorrow, or they'll take away my scholarship...
