L Lawilet

L (real name Al Lawliet) is one of the main characters in the manga, anime series, and films Death Note. In the story, he is considered the best detective in the world and confronts the serial killer Kira, who possesses this very notebook.

L claims that if he sits in a normal position, his brain activity will decrease by 40%. - It's obviously the same reason he slouches all the time. In one episode, he tells Misa that if you think a lot, you won't get weight from sweets. Probably, the love of sweets is due to the fact that L grew up in a shelter, and the fact that glucose affects the improvement of brain function.

He is distinguished by his straightforwardness, impartiality, and honesty. He bases his reasoning solely on logic and deduction. L said about himself that he was touchy and didn't like to lose, just like Kira. He was brave enough, because he was not afraid to show his face to someone whom he considered Kira from the very beginning.

Despite his rather weak appearance, he has good physical characteristics, he's a really good fighter and actually he's a lot stronger than he looks. He knows how to pilot a helicopter, but, as L himself said, "It's a hobby."
