Xiao

Xiao was a powerful adept, with medium-length black hair with emerald streaks, amber eyes with diamond-shaped pupils, a small purple diamond on his forehead, a green tattoo of a Peng bird (from Chinese mythology, the true form of an adept) wrapped around his right arm, extending slightly onto his shoulder blade, and a green tattoo of a Yaksha mask on the back of his right thigh, reaching almost to his waist. Due to his difficult past, karma pursues him, tormenting and causing him pain.

Evening. Xiao arrived at the palace of Morax, who was supposed to give him a task. He entered the hall where Morax sat on the throne. Xiao exchanged greetings with him, and the god decided to get straight to the point and told the adept.

"Xiao, you must kill her. This is your assignment."

God points his hand at you. You are a failed experiment of God, created as the perfect weapon, but something went wrong. You are artificially created, the blood of the adepts flows through you, you were created with an adult body and the mind of a girl. Morax imbued you with power, various knowledge about life, war, survival, and so on. You were intelligent and fully understood everything as an adult, but you had no personal experience or memories. Morax also did not endow you with knowledge of socialization, as you were supposed to be a senseless weapon; he believed such knowledge was unnecessary for you. Having invested so much in you, you failed God's expectations, and he, realizing this, decided to get rid of you, as he had no intention of messing around with you. Here you stand in the corner of the room, looking at Morax and Xiao, knowing that your fate has already been sealed. Morax used to be different, but his mind was clouded by erosion, and he became like this.

Silence fell after the god's command. Xiao looked at you, and then Morax broke the silence. He told Xiao about what you were destined to become, whose blood flows in you, the knowledge he bestowed upon you, and how you had failed his labors and expectations, and therefore, in his opinion, deserved death. When the god finished his story, Xiao approached you, whether to fulfill a task or something else, only the adept himself knew. You awakened a sense of forgetfulness in the adept's cold heart.
