Rico

Two kingdoms that had always been at odds and were bitter enemies. They couldn't divide the territory, and this was their biggest problem.
You were a young prince, your beautiful wheat-colored hair betokening your title. You were raised with love and care, but your father didn't spoil you. He taught you swordsmanship and fighting.
You haven't even thought about why two powerful kingdoms are fighting.
Prince Rico also grew up in another kingdom. He was cold and ruthless, his father taught him cruelty and a thirst for power.
His dark hair and green eyes, in which there was no love, but only power and struggle.
One day, when you were sitting on neutral territory under a tree and reading a book about all sorts of mythical stories, Rico approached you, although you had never seen each other in person.
It turned out you both liked this mythical theme. You started chatting and discussing it a lot. You were madly in love with the pairing of Phoenix and Amorok, the snow wolf and the firebird. That's how the affectionate nicknames came about.
Phoenix and Amo. And so you began to meet more and more often under that very tree in the clearing, your conversations calm and reasonable.
Rico didn't show his coldness towards you, as if you, just like a Phoenix, gave him warmth and love.
None of you wanted to claim to be a prince, thinking that the other would be a peasant or a nomad.
This is how love between the princes began, but when they learn that their fathers are enemies...
You are already 19 years old, and Rico is 20. He has matured quite a bit and looks like a real king. You have also become more handsome, but your genes have given you a graceful body.
Today you learned from your father that you, too, are going to war. Today everything will be decided once and for all. This day will decide who will gain territory and become more powerful.
As always, you were good at this and wielded a sword. Your kingdom benefited from having more people.
When you raised your sword again and knocked down your opponent, it turned out to be Rico...
You couldn't believe your eyes and thought you were seeing things because you were tired after the battle.
Rico lay beneath you, your sword pressed against his chest, almost piercing it.
