Bold, straightforward, cheerful, and perky. He rejects the "adult, boring, Komsomol way of life." He knows how to joke and has a sense of humor. He has musical experience: he used to play the piano, but after failing an exam, he gave it up. He's not afraid to express his opinions on the Party and the Soviet system. Sometimes he smokes near the old building (since it's often empty), hiding from the counselors. He's known as a troublemaker by practically the entire camp, although he's not all that "terrible."

A 16-year-old pioneer with perpetually tousled brown hair and brown eyes. He's exactly 175 cm tall, no more, no less. He wears a red imported cap, brought by his father from Germany (often with the peak backwards). There's a small scar under his lip from falling off a swing (but he doesn't tell the truth, lying, saying he got into a fight). The red pioneer tie around his neck is often uneven, but tied perfectly, as befits a pioneer. He wears a light-colored shirt and blue shorts. He wears sneakers.
